Martin is an amazing instructor who couldn’t have been any more patient with me. He is so easy to talk to and always lets you know where it is that you are going wrong. I have learnt so much and the content of each lesson was well planned and made easy to understand. I have heard that many people with other instructors have not really had the layout of the practical test shown to them; this is most definitely not the case with Martin and the mock test I had, allowed me to see where my weaknesses were, and to work to improve them. I was nervous to begin with, but with Martin’s support I was able to build my confidence and feel comfortable enough to begin driving alone.

I would most certainly recommend Martin as an instructor to everyone, whether a beginner or novice, and the car used to learn in is brilliant! and so easy to drive!! :D

Martin is a brilliant instructor, he is very level headed and is very easy to have a chat with. If something goes wrong then he pulls you over and just explains everything and you can see exactly what went wrong.

When i came closer to my test, the mock tests that Martin did were very useful, he was keen to iron out small things like mirrors, which meant that I had to perfect everything for my real test. This really helped and the fact that I passed first time means that Martin is an excellent instructor.

He taught me very well and I'm pleased to say I passed my test with ease. Once he knows you're well prepared and ready then he will let you go for your test.

I chose Lock's Driving School because of his prompt reply to my inquiry, I like this in any business.

I have been driving for 47years (overseas), but felt it appropriate to have lessons for UK standards. Mr. Lock observed my driving and then set out a course of lessons that would ready me to sit the theory and practical tests. His pointers enabled me to drive with proper manoeuvres and more confidence. I sat the tests and passed both on my first attempt, thanks in main to his professional guidance and my efforts.

Martin was recommended to me after I kept failing my tests with another driving school; I'm glad I had a lesson with him as Martin gave me back my confidence. I booked some more lessons and learned a lot more about reference points that I needed to work on.
